Why is it back firing and loss of power

Starts fine then spits and sputters and dies right off the bat loss of power any ideas

@bbblu0204 what exact year is your Ranger and what engine size does it have? Automatic or Manual? what have you checked?

It's a 94 manual with a 2.3 engine I've checked the inertia switch fuel filter maf sensor I'm kinda concerned about the old plastic vacuum lines

Best thing to do is change them out. Certainly can't hurt.

Have you pulled your plugs and checked them out? They will give you an indication of the way your engine is running.
