Replacement battery dying within 2-3 hours despite calibration

Problem Solved:

I tried to clean up the drive after uninstalling some vampire programs in the background didn't help. Didn't make a dent (battery life still ~2 hours), so I backed up my drive with Time Machine, then erased it, and reinstalled the OS which ended up being Mountain Lion (#tbt). I had some issues because I had two factor verification on and Mountain Lion could not handle it, so I ended up using my phone to deactivate that and then being able to update to High Sierra. Once that was complete, I had some issues with the local keychain dialogue box coming up and requiring my password but not accepting it. I found a solution that worked for me Here

The directions I followed:

"Open Finder. Choose Go -> Utilities. Locate Terminal and Open It. In Terminal, type the following command:

cd ~/Library/Keychains and Press ENTER

then type ls and press ENTER to list the contents of the Keychains directory. You will see a long string with random numbers.

Type rm -rf then type the first three letters or numbers in the long string as you see and press the TAB key to get the full name of the folder. Press ENTER. Repeat the steps, if there are more then one folders of this type. "

Battery life is estimated to be about 5-6 hours now. I haven't restored my back up and I may not, might just get things off my external or iCloud as needed.
