Back-UPS Pro 1500 - Error: F05

I'm with an APC UPS, model Back-UPS Pro 1500, which is displaying "F05" error, and constant whistle. To repair I need the electric plate (640-3078A-Z_REV07) and service manual. Thanks if anyone can help me.

You'll need to contact APC for the part. But you have a deeper problem as the charging logic is damaged 'F05 - Charge Fault

@caciola the board is a lot easier to find than the service manual. The board is currently for sale at places like this.

Hi I also have F05 error . My local Apc service center tells me the unit is NOT repairable . I am thinkin that if I can locate the charging board/unit I should be able to replace it or have it replaced ?

I have a Back-UPS Pro 900 from 2012 (BR900GI) that has failed with an F05 error. A local APC service center has quoted me $85 (labour included) for the board replacement. I have no idea what the board number for my model would be, but the 640-3078A-Z_REV07 mentioned above seems to cost about $75 second-hand.

I'd love to keep using this device, but given the fact that a repair and a new battery are needed (it's 4 years old) ... buying a new one may seem a better option? I hate it when this happens!!
