Canon IXUS 145 lens error automatically shuts down .
My Canon IXUS 145 has a lens error and automatically shuts down I can't get it to restart.

Lens Errors are commonly caused by a jammed motor. Dust could've gotten inside the motor apparatus and jammed it. Clean out the motor and that should fix the error.
