Samsung's flagship tablet, released in March 2017. Identified by model number SM-T820.

Why does my tablet crash using Chrome/Internet Explorer?

Every time I load a new webpage the tablet freezes momentarily (about 5-10 seconds) and displays an error message asking if I'd like to 'force close' Chrome or 'wait' or 'send feedback'. This happens 95% of the time opening new tabs or just clicking links from Google. I normally click 'wait' as it sorts itself out.. eventually... but it's a bit of a ballache. Having paid $600 odd on the flagship tablet from Samsung I kinda expected glitch free browsing. Any ideas?

Bought 2 Galaxy Tab S3s in April 2018. In the past month both have started freezing for 15-30 seconds when using Chrome or any other web browser. Get same error message. Spoke with Samsung customer service. No help other than send to New Jersey for diagnosis.

Settings --> Applications --> Chrome

• tap force stop

• tap clear data

Power off the tablet, then power it back on.

If this doesn't resolve your issue, then:

Settings --> Applications --> Chrome

• tap force stop

• tap uninstall updates

Personally, I've had better experience with Firefox on tablets. It seems to be faster and uses less resources than the current version of Chrome.
