Water damaged lg flex 1

I have a water damaged lg flex..my niece dropped in mop bucket..it has been put away for like a year....can I still fix it

I doubt it but you really have nothing to lose by trying, except some time and most probably the cost of some IPA 90%+ and a replacement battery

Here is a link to a video which will help in dis-assembling the phone so that it can be inspected to see what damage has occurred over the intervening time.

It may be after cleaning all the affected parts, using IPA 90%+ (Isopropyl Alcohol - available at most pharmacies) and replacing the battery (it will most probably be depleted to a point beyond recovery) that it might (stress might) function again. Although perhaps maybe not all the features will work.
