Device and repair information for the Dell XPS 13 laptop models 9343 and 9350, which were both released in 2015.

Cannot remove the screw inside magnetic cover

I've tried to unscrew it for literally 5 minutes.

I'm sure it's loosened but it doesn't lift.

It's just stuck in the cover.

it has no hard drive in it, give it a smack. alternatively, do the other screws and it should still come right off as the screws are not anchored.

i've tried to smack it but feared that the hinge will be broken.

And what do you mean the second option? just pry it anyway since the middle one isn't anchored? It does feel stiff when i try to pry the edges.
