where does the thicker wire from the alternator connect onto the startermotor?

Generally the heavy wire from the alternator goes to the battery terminal on the starter motor.

Hi there George, thanks connected it like that and it works.
My problem was i replaced the starter but took a while to re-install it and could not remember how the wires went and connected the wire from the alternator to earth and blew the rectifier in the alternator.
