Battery compartment is broken
The battery compartment latch is broken how can we fix it we are using a rubber band doesn't work that well

btr1963 the latch should be available through Fujifilm as a repair part with the repair number being CR013020299. Otherwise you'd be looking at removing the back of your camera, pulling the pin for the whole battery cover and replacing it complete. You can of course try something a bit more radical like this or replace the complete cover with something like this
