How do I fix the NEW NINTENDO 3DS XL without a SCREWDRIVER?

I want to fix it without a screwdriver...

But how?

My New 3DS XL is not powering on.

It says "A error has occurred".... And then it says the support link.

It's fully charged...

Please put a answer...

I would be very grateful...

Hi @lilkenkens ,

If it is "new" why do you want to fix it?

Let the manufacturer fix it. That's what 'manufacturer's warranties' are for.

If you attempt to fix it you will void the warranty on the device.

Verify the purchase date on the sales receipt and if the warranty period is still valid, follow the directions as per the manufacturer's warranty statement as to what to do to make a claim for a warrant repair or replacement.

@jayeff With "new" he means the New 3DSXL from 2015

Hi @alexniculescu ,

Thank you for that.

Just a question though?

Is it still the latest model therefore it could still be "new" as in bought recently and therefore is still under warranty?

Just wondering about the implications of why the OP specifies to open without the aid of a screwdriver

@jayeff Sorry for the late reply. Nintendo still calls it the "New" 3DS XL officially. It never got a new true successor. The 2DS XL succeeds the old 2DS in the product line, but not the 3DS, so the naming is still accurate.

Hi @alexniculescu ,

No problems.

Thanks. The New 3DS XL is still available to purchase so it could still be a warranty issue. Unless the OP replies I guess we'll never know in this case

Cheers ;-)
