iPod 2nd gen - Headphone jack = motherboard?

I'm wondering about replacing the headphone jack in my super old ipod. I don't see that fix specifically. Is it a full motherboard replacement? Or just not do-able these days?

Charlie Hudson the headphone jack is soldered to the logicboard. So in your case you would have to try and find a replacement jack to place on the board.. Of course, this may just be the repair required for your jack to work again. Check that all the contacts are properly soldered to the board.
