Released in September 2009, Samsung's GT-E2120 features an embedded FM radio internal antenna along with a Bluetooth wireless connection.

Phone displays splash and reboots blinking endlessly.

This seems to be a well-documented problem.

This phone will power up to the splash screen, and then reboot. This process repeats until the battery is physically removed.

I have a USB cable, but no other hardware.

There are two phone numbers I would like to retrieve from this phone.

How can I recover the two phone numbers without additional hardware? I'm thinking some specialized flashing software/hardware is needed. I hope there's an easier alternative.

Thanks for reading!

Ikvee from what I remember there was some hardware problem. Something about a capacitor or resistor on the logic board that needed to be replaced/removed in order to fix this. I will try and see if I still have it bookmarked. Once it stops that reboot cycle, you should still get to your information re. your two numbers. Okay here oops I meant here is the thread that I was referring to and apparently here is the cap to be removed. Again, no guarantees but it could work.

I have same problem but i'm afraid not to damage my phone by removing this part. Did someone tried this?

crwdns2934271:0crwdnd2934271:0crwdne2934271:0

I did and it works. Just be careful not to damage the phone's motherboard.

Accoring to the service manual that's a bias cap for the microphone...how does removing this solve the problem of the reboot screen and what's the impact on the mic when you go to use the phone again?
