Sounds like BSOD. could you add a high quality (and readable) picture of the blue screen? here's a guide on how to add a pic. Adding images to an existing question

If your data is not important Then the next step is to try to perform a full system reset. Also blow out the fans with compressed air to make sure its not an overheating issue.

A power reset (or hard restart) clears all information from the computer's memory without erasing any personal data. Performing a power reset might fix conditions such as Windows not responding, a blank display, software freezing, keyboard stops responding, or other external devices locking up.

Resetting your computer to factory settings might be necessary if the operating system is damaged, the hard drive is corrupted, the computer is infected by a virus, or you are transferring ownership of the computer. HP System Recovery removes all hard drive data and reinstalls the original operating system.

To open Recovery Manager (on most PCs) and initiate a recovery before Windows starts, turn on the computer and immediately press the F11 key repeatedly.

See if the issue persists in safe mode. boot into safe mode by spamming the ESC key until you see the startup menu. from there hit F11 and click troubleshoot. then advanced options, startup settings then hit restart. once it boots you should see startup settings. hit F4. once the pc boots, see if the blue screen comes up again, if not you may have a virus or something else wrong with your settings. report back to me on your result. because we are not done.

Note: to exit safe mode, simply reboot your pc and it will start up normally.

Also, no data will be lost in this process
