Camera removal in the atrix

It appears both cameras are soldered to the ribbons. What would be the risk if I removed the cameras from the phone permanently?

Why do you want to remove the cameras permanently? Some security issue at work? Maybe some gaffers tape would be sufficient.

Security at work is the reason. The only option is complete removal.

Eric Rosener, if you check on the ifixit teardown of the Atrix you will notice that "This cable houses the front camera, earpiece speaker, power button assembly, and top microphone."
