Hi, @vakama112 ,
If you don't have a SSD but have a HDD then hopefully it is not your HDD failing.
Go to the HDD manufacturer's website and check if there is diagnostic software available to download to test the HDD
If it is the HDD then given you have a fairly new model laptop, it should still be covered by the laptop manufacturer's warranty

I installed crystal disk info to diagnose the problem and it states that it is an issue in seek error rate. What is this? Is it repairable?
Hi @vakama112 ,
No it is not repairable.
HDD manufacturers might be able to repair because they have the equipment, but it is not worth the expense. Replacement is a lot cheaper and mostly HDDs are very reliable and last a long time so they probably wouldn't do it. Not too many HDDs start to fail early in their life.
Here is a link that explains it better than I can. Eventually the HDD will fail
I suggest that you backup all the data on the HDD as soon as you can. That way when the HDD does fail you haven't lost anything (especially anything important to you).
As I said earlier if the laptop (which includes the HDD) is less than 12 months old, I suggest you contact Asus as per the warranty statement in the documentation that came with the laptop about what you have to do to get a warranty replacement HDD
