I recently changed the screen/digitizer but there is nothing but only a sound from the alarm clock. How do I make the screen turn on? everything is black on display.

Chances are screen is not connected properly, the ribbon cable that plugs between the logic board and the screen cable may be damaged.
Or at worst, the screen is faulty.

I've had this happen a few times after a screen replacement. Always do a hard reset first, most the time it will fix this issue. If not the it's the connection of the flex cables to the board itself and or a faulty replacement screen.
