Reduced WiFi signal after dropping a phone

I recently dropped my Google Pixel and my screen got cracked but after fixing the screen I realized WiFi range has diminished dramatically and it picks up signal only if I place it directly above the router. I found a couple of forum posts indicating towards such problem but did not find a clear cut answer. Can anyone tell how this issue can be fixed?
