Why did the speedometer gauge stop working?

1994-2001 Dodge Ram

The Ram line was redesigned for the 1994 model year. Development on a second generation began in 1986, ending in late 1992.

I replaced speed sensors and instrument cluster but gauge on speedometer doesn't move neither does the numbers on odometer.

It is possible the electrical wire connecting the two is broken or grounding. You can use a multimeter to find out if there is a break in the wire.

Check for an open in the wire harness to the speed sensor form the PCM.

At the PCM connector C2 (middle one) Terminal 25 Dark Blue/Black and Terminal 28 Light Green/Black.
