My Jeep Wrangler likes to start up and will stay at 1,000 rpms for a while but when I put it into gear it stalls out. Also when I’m driving it will sometimes stall out. I have no idea what to do!

I dont know about Jeep, but usualy idle speed is +-750 rpm . 1000 is a little high, but it depends on the engine. It might be several things first things. Try to check is the fuel delivery system / air intake system. Also check the crank positioning sensor... if its providing a bad reading the car may shutoff.
