I smashed my iPhone 6 Plus - can it still be repaired?

I smashed my iPhone 6 Plus a couple of days ago and the screen was already broken. I tried charging it for an entire day non-stop but the phone still wouldn't turn on and when I tried plugging it into my laptop, iTunes wouldn't respond to the phone. Could it be dead with no hope of it getting fixed? Or does it mean I need to get my logic board replaced? If none of those, please let me know.

Thank you :)

Hey Anna! All may not be lost. The only way to know for sure is to take the display off and see what's going on under the hood. The fact that there's no recognition from the computer is troubling, but it may just be that your battery got disconnected. My recommendation is to get that screen off, and lets us know what the condition of your board is. Pictures are extremely helpful, and I can help you with troubleshooting once you have more information. Best of luck in your repair!
