Tablet dead, can I use it as a display?
My Nook HD+ has been dead for some time. I think it should be something with the mother board. The display is still nice, no dead pixels.
I've been thinking if I can convert it to an HDMI display? where can I find those connectors for the display and how should I wire it to HDMI cable? And Can I make use of the original speaker on it, too?
Thank you for any suggestions.

acturally it’s still working. I found another post on xda about the Nook’s battery then reset it. (actually charged it via an USB port on PC). It came back. but now it’s too old and slow. I can still play some very old non-graphic intensive games there, but I have a much better 10 inch tablet now. Such a waste of screen.
Also, on ebay and aliexpress, there is no board for this screen. It’s probably a very small batch and not sold to other manuractures. Can’t adapt to universal use. And there are 2nd screen apps now, which won’t work on Nook right now .
Such a pity can’t make use of the screen.
