Stuck in reboot Cycle

So I have this Nano 7th Generation that is in great condition, but is stuck in the reboot cycles. I have factory reset the device several times but to no avail, as soon as I plug it back in it starts the reboot cycle. It wont connect to iTunes unless I have it in recovery mode. When I do have it connected to iTunes it indicates the battery is fully charged and yet, when not plugged in the Nano will not turn on AT ALL. Only plugging it in will activate anything on the Nano, and that being the reboot cycle. Any advice for me?

Based off your diagnoses I would say it's the battery that's the issue. Maybe it's time to get a new one and replace it. Since this can be slightly tricky, and if you do not have the proper tools. I would take it to a shop and see if they are will to do it.
