Constantly searching for signal

Got an iPhone 7 in. Constantly searching for signal. Tried resetting the network settings. Nope. Tried new lightning dock. Nope. Guessing it's the Qualcomm? WTR3925RF transceiver? I need advice from the top guys @refectio @mayer of course you too @pccheese

Have you checked to see if the phone recognizes the IMEI. Punch in *#06#. If it doesn't show anything, you could have a Baseband issue. Not sure about the 7 but it's pretty prevalent on the iPhone 6.

If it's been gotten into (remember customers lie because they don't want anyone to know just how stupid they are) check the antenna connections. Look for LSI indicators.

Oh yes, Apple has to have a way to deny warranty service: https://www.cultofmac.com/13571/the-trop...

Pull the SIM while it's on and see where it gets you. What network is it and/or the SIM. Try this: http://osxdaily.com/2012/08/20/field-tes...

And also try to enable roaming. If there's a tower you know of somewhere, you should see if you get a signal right next to it.

Update

@theimedic look at this thread that just popped up: Constant searching, no signal..
