AC power adapter for MacBook, MacBook Pro, and MacBook Air. Uses a self-aligning magnetic connector that disconnects safely when tugged. First-generation (2006-2012) MagSafe chargers have a slightly thicker, L-shaped connector. Available in 45 W, 60 W, and 85 W versions.

Power Adapter damaged by water

My Apple 85W MagSafe 2 Power Adapter (for MacBook Pro 15" with Retina display) was recently damaged by water (dropped in water).

It is not charging. Is the power adapter still repairable? Or should I just buy a new one? Thanks!

You should certainly replace it. I'm amazed that it didn't ruin your Mac already. Assuming you could fix it, it is still something that would be dangerous to you electrical system and your Mac. You should most definitely replace it.

Here's one that iFixit sells:

Apple MagSafe 2 AC Adapter

Hope this helps!
