Not sure if you were able to do it (being you asked for help a couple years ago)

I don’t have a D5300 myself, but I did a teardown of my D500. On mine, there is 4 screws holding the motherboard into the camera, and a whole bunch of ribbon cables linking to other parts. It might get you on the track to do it.

If you do, you could make up a guide for doing it yourself, so that others can learn too!
