Hi, I have a ZTE Majesty Pro LTE Z798BL. My service provider is Tracfone/Safelink.
I am attempting to edit my contacts. When I touch the screen, I get a message that says I have disabled required permission. What permission? And how do I re-enable it?
I had same problem on new phone and stumbled around for several days. Then happened across this and turned on all permissions in contact applications and the edit now works. Now I have to figure out which permissions I can turn off!
These Instructions were given me by a Engineering Student (who will be designing Cell Phones) at Walmart in a Cell Phone Kiosk. It was for the ZTE ZFIVE G
Home, Settings, Apps -
NOT apps as I was doing.
Then scroll down to Contacts…
Permissions then…
Storage - Slide the slider thing to the right.
Hope this helps - (I mentioned to her that non of these instructions were “intuitive” - who would think of it and not mentioned in the booklet either - errr! Please when designing cell phones make it intuitive. MHO
