Replacing the LCD screen on the new MacBook Air

I see many sites that advertise replacement 13" LCD screens for the Macbook Air for the A1237 but I don't see the new model (mid 2010) A1369 listed as compatible. Are they the same? Can I use the same LCD screen for the new model?

Thanks,

Mike

The new machine uses the 661-5732: http://www.dvwarehouse.com/Apple-LCD-Dis...

UPDATE 8/2011

the 661-5732 can now be had for $358, new: http://www.smartmicrousa.com/apple-661-5...

Thanks for the quick answer. It is drastically more expensive, i.e. $659 compared to ~$200 for the older screen. Are you forced to use that specific LCD screen if you were to replace it?

The part you have suggested is the whole top assembly. There seems to be a number of 13" LCD screens available for the Macbook Air if one was ok with physically removing the screen "bezel" frame, unscrew the screen and replace it. However, the replacement LCD doesn't list the A1237 model number as compatible. So, I was wondering, if these online stores just haven't updated their compatibility menus and the replacement screen really will work for a lot less money or that I'm just in a really tough spot and I have to buy the whole top assembly?

Thoughts?

Sorry, I meant: However, the replacement LCD doesn't list the A1369 model number as compatible. (the new late 2010 model).

The new model is LED backlit, so you'd want to get the part specifically for the new machine. The older screens are not as good.

The screen on A1369 is ridiculously fragile, we have had two break within 6 months from extremely minor incidents. Apple quote $1100 AU to fix!! Basically if screen breaks (and it will) laptop is useless as too expensive to replace.

Can anybody vouch for the screen being sold by Smart Micro USA? Given the difficulty finding the screen anywhere for under $600, it seems a little too good to be true. I'm also wondering whether it's LCD only or the whole display assembly. I'd read that the LCD could not be removed on this model.
