The DualShock 4 CUH-ZCT2 was announced in 2016 to replace the CUH-ZCT1 controller released in 2013. This controller is similar to the previous model.

L2 trigger wrong input

Hello, I have the following problem.

When I press the L2 button, the analog is apparently triggered up.

If I move the left analogue and press L2 again, the problem disappears, but on some drives it returns.

What could be the problem? What do they suggest?

Here's a video of the problem: https://youtu.be/u6hUOQScQnw

Thank you.

I got a controller that was doing that issue and I found a permanent fix to this problem. If resetting the controller does not work, the problem is related to the joystick (joystick drift). Sometimes it will just need a clean to the potentiometer and other times, you will need to change it but they are very cheap and easy to change (no soldering require). I found this video that should help you to fix your issue : https://youtu.be/RcIza5Zz8qY
