Alright, first of all don't put it in the freezer, sounds like a good idea but actually bad. Electronics don't like to go from one extreme temperature to another. Sounds like your board is overheating. Either buy a new board, or send it to a board repair shop. Something is shorted out and looks like getting a new board would actually be cheaper. Microsoldering is expensive work
