ok i recently had to replace my battery in my 2008 ford-escape my radio was working fine before i changed the. battery i put the. ew battery in and now my radio is stuck on am and none of the buttons will work i've tried pulling the fuse i've took the unit out and blew it out i even put the same head unit out of another ford escape and it still did the same thing idk what else to do

@kyle1203, kyle, Try a reset, disconnect the negative battery cable overnight or for at least 8 hours. Hopefully works after this reset, if it does not could mean you have a part failure/internal board faulty. Good luck. I hope this helped you out, if so let me know by pressing the helpful button.

kyle nichols, Thanks for replying back, I do not know which part could be bad, the radio would have to be disassembled and board/components tested to find fault if need be. May not be cost effective to have radio repaired unless able to repair yourself as good used radio possibly under $100.00 through a search or auto recycler. Good luck with your radio.

Replace face plate it's a control board. Mine got wet from sunroof being left open. I got one from ebay 26 bucks
