no power - shows charging

Hey all.

I had an ipad 4 come in.

History from what i know.

NEW digitizer fitted by customer.

NOW no power.

When i plug it into charge i can see it is charging as I have a usb cable with charge light which turns red. I get the battery charging on screen. Then when it tries to fire up screen for a split second goes white and then back to black screen.

Weird. Any ideas what I can check?

Check digitizer and lcd connectors on the logic board for physical damage.

Also plug into iTunes and see if it's in recovery mode.

When you mean split second does it boot loop by itself or gets stuck to black screen?

Sounds like stuck in DFU mode which can be confirmed by using 3Utools to read iPad.
