Computer will not turn on
iMac A1207 late 2006
Unplugged my computer from the wall last night because of potential lightning strikes. When I tried to start it this morning, it won't turn on.

When you take the frame off, please tell us the status of the diagnostic LEDs to the right of the RAM slots. Also what they do when you attempt a power on.
It's probably about time to replace the PRAM battery. Here's how:

did you plug it back in? Most laptops have only a life span of at least 3-4 hours, unplugged

Sorry, this is an older desktop iMac. Yes, I plugged it back in and tried restarting.
Both LED lights to the right of the ram slots are green. I replaced the PRAM battery just in case but no difference. The fan is turning and the power light is on but no sound from the hard drive.
