tv flips through all the channels
My TV keeps flipping channels and won't stop

Hi,
Try removing the batteries from the remote control, in case it is a sticking channel Up/Down button in the remote control.
If that doesn't resolve the problem then try pressing the Channel Up/Down button on the TV to see if this has any affect on the problem.
Try turning Off the TV and disconnecting the power for a little while then reconnecting the power to the TV and switching On to see if this has 'reset' the TV.

I have a 50” Sanyo tv it keeps automatically going through all the channels on it’s on including the hdm1 video etc. we have changed batteries in the remote we have unplugged it we have left it off for days we decided to turn it back on lastnight it played fine then this morning it was right back to doing it help please!

My tv is doing same thing. If I hit the menu bit then it pops up and continues to scroll it's a FW32D08F any help for this problem. I have taken batteries out of remote. Unplugged it for 10 minutes and the result was the same. It first started by the volume going to 100 and I could get the remote to turn down but it was constantly still going up so I remotely powered off. Then upon turning on it was flipping through the channels no noise and I could not turn off had to unplug

William Austin if it is not your remote, it could be the button bar itself. what model is your TV?

I have a sanyo t.v and it's going on through channels and the menu even the hdm1 I turned it off disconnected the t.v and took off the batteries of the remote control dont know what else to do

@williamaus26954 Did you resolve your TV problem? I am experiencing the same problem with my Sanyo TV (Model - FW50D48F). I removed the batteries from the remote, turned off the TV, and tried pressing the up/down switch behind the TV, but the problem still persists. Can anyone @oldturkey03 assist me in resolving this issue?

I have a Emerson tv with built in dvd player and my tv is doing the channel search by itself I don’t even have a remote for it I’ve tried unplugging and plugging back in still doing the same thing
