How can I connect my keyboard back to the motherboard?

I spilled lemonade on my keyboard, and it worked well at first, but the next day when I clicked a key, another one or three more letters would appear. The day after that, it won't type anything to the computer, but it's still on, I know because the light is still on. How can I at least reconnect it to the computer?

If the keyboard is shorted out you need a new one . Once plugged in the keyboard, if functional ,will work "plug and play " You will probably need a new keyboard if its not working. They can be purchased at any computer store and to install it is as simple as plugging it in. Depending on your computer and how old or new it is you may have to restart it. Hope this helps
