New Power adapter, No power, no RROD

I was given a Xbox 360E and it will not power on. I did purchase a new power adapter but does the same thing as the old one and shows a amber light. The Xbox does not respond at all and i'm unsure as to what the cause is. I did tear down the Xbox and looked at all the capacitors which look normal and not fat or leaking. I was reading possibilities that MOSFET's could be to blame or the RF module. Anyone have any idea or suggestion? Please help.
