indicator lights (all) on bose sounddock (2) non-functional

indicator lights (all) on bose sounddock (2) non-functional . T the device works perfectly remote no problem sound quality perceptions properly but nothing that indicates the devices on anything that has to do with indicator is functional. Is there a connector or something could have worse excludes the operation of the indicator lights for on off volume xcetera? Please help thanks much Bill
