ipad air wake sleep sensor

Good morning, I replaced the tuch on a ipad air (full touch home button) .. but no longer works the wake sleep mode with the smart cover .. do not understand what may be the problem .. where is the sensor?

The sensor is the chips on the home button cable. Compare it to the old screen with the home button on it and you should see that one does not have the components on there.

If that is the case then you will need to transfer it via soldering.

My bad, the home button cable is soldered together with the screen.

It's just a bad digitizer then because most likely it didn't come with the IC required for the smart cover sensor.
