Ipad restarts constantly and turns off

My ipad2 just turns on, stays for around 3 minutes trying to turn on, then it turns off again, and goes back to trying to turn on, this only stops when I put it on DFU or recovery mode.

I've alredy tried using Reiboot to fix this problem, as well as updating the OS trough itunes, restoring, factory reseting, as well as discharging the battery completly and trying to charge it again.

It could be your battery is starting to fail. I'm not exactly sure but if your battery is having problems it would explain it shutting off and retrying to turn on.

Good advice. It bewilders me how some think a battery issue can be solved by software haha

I didn't necessarly think it could be fixed by software, it's just that there are so many reasons for a iDevice to go on a reboot loop that I couldn't discard software options. On another note I've seen someone saying that by leaving the ipad turned off for a couple of days that it could fix it, tbh I'm not too sure about that one, it doesn't seem like it would work but at this point this is my last hope with this iPad, and I figured it could be a battery problem, just wanted a second opinion, and maybe some other advices that could (maybe) end up fixing it.

Hmmm... Sounds like a trip to Apple!

The battery is worn and you will need a new battery

Possibly, however, it's completely broken, just not visible when assembled.
