The Jeep Grand Cherokee was redesigned for the 1999 model year; the 2000 models have minimal changes. This model is also known as Jeep WJ.

are your front lights working or are they dark as well . There on the same fuse. If your front makeres are working then theres probably a break in the wire to the rear

The fuse panel is located by the drivers left knee under the dash.

your owners manual should have a breakdown of which fuse is which. if not use a multi meter to find the blown fuse

@chuyin ,Jesus Contreras , If after checking all fuses and bulb's and does not rectify the issue, check the bulb sockets them selves for corrosion, burnt, contacts may need pried up a bit(little) to enable grounding or power to the bulb, (this is a common issue) if contacts broke or badly burnt, replace the socket. Below are a couple links that may help. Good luck.

I hope this helped you out, if so let me know by pressing the helpful button.

I was able to fix my son's 2004 Cherokee by switching sockets -- the tail/brake socket fits in the back-up socket and also the turn signal socket.
