audio sound not working

Logitech speakers, plug and play not coming on. worked previously, move PC to another room and now not working

This may sound silly, but just check you've plugged the speakers into the right 3.5mm jack socket, and not, say, the mic socket. We've all done a few stupid things like that!

Thank you for the response. I can understand the mix up of jack sockets. However, in my case, the speakers were working fine. I moved the location of the PC and in the process it stopped working. The jack and socket are color coded which I checked to make sure that the plug was in the right socket.

There's a location in the pc which I have to fine and turn on as this was what happened to me once before. I am searching for it but was hopeful that the answer might be available on here.
