Where can I find the accelerator sensor?

Hi,

my accelerator sensor is broken.

Could you please tell me which part I have to change in order to repair the smartphone?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Juergen

@jpoersch the accelerometer is U606 which is a LIS3DH 3-axis accelerometer. Samsung secondary part number is 1209-002045.

In order to find out what you need to repair on your phone, you would have to tell us what is wrong with it and what it does or does not do.

Thank you for the photo.

If I change the position of the mobile phone from horizontal to vertical the screen is not changing its appearance.

Do I really have to change the mainboard with the accelerator sensor in order to get my problem fixed?

depending on your Android version you could try and enter *#0*# to get to a menu which will allow you to test the sensors. See what you get for the accelerometer test

Does it change when you move it

No, the value is the same.

It's weird, cause I find a few threads about this, and half the time they say it's hardware, but usually an agreement that this didn't happen until after a software update. Have you tried this?

I have also updated the software. There must be a problem with the hardware.

They also said clearing the cache could help

I have already executed the following entries of the Android system recovery list:

- wipe data/factory reset

- wipe cache partition

Both entries didn't solve my problem.
