The logitech z506 is a 5.1 surround sound system released in August 2010.The speakers have a RMS power of 75w(8w×4<satellite>,16w<center>,27w).

The volume button does not work unless pushed inward.

I own logitech z506 and the volume adjust button does not work all the time. It is at maximum volume unless it is constantly pushed inwards. I tried opening it, but when I try to pull the board(with the buttons on it) from the front of the speaker the power button and the volume button do not allow me to fully separate the two, so that I can see what is going on. I am afraid of breaking it. Can someone help. Thank you in advance.

I fixed it myself... no one answered. If someone is having a similar problem. You can pull out the volume button with a screwdriver (not a philips one). And you have to change the potentiometer and it will be fixed. It is a dual (double) 20 ohms potentiometer. A 22 will also work. It looks like this.https://store.comet.bg/Catalogue/Product...
