You could be having any of these issues:

A third-party application is preventing the phone from starting properly.

If you have an after-market phone case it might be holding your volume key down and forcing it into safe mode.

Phone's OS maybe corrupted preventing it from starting to normal mode. Here are some possible fixes:

Go into your application manager and look for any suspicious apps and delete them, or delete any recently downloaded apps.

If you have an after-market case get rid of it.

Boot your phone into recovery mode and clear cache partition.

If all else fails do a factory data reset.
