Pulled fan connector off logic board

While trying to install as SSD, I pulled the part of the fan connector that's soldered onto the logic board completely off. In other words, I pulled the actual socket off the logic board.

Anybody know what to do now?

Any advice is humbly appreciated...

Common to do this on the Mac Minis. Grab a micro soldering iron, and solder it back on at the anchor points.

If the connector is destroyed, replace it with a new one http://uk.rs-online.com/web/p/pcb-header...

If some of the pads are pulled off, you will need to solder wires to the correct location, and will need a schematic and board view.

Good luck!

Thanks for the info, Reece. Can you point to any type of instructional video for this? I've done soldering on guitars before but never anything with a circuit board, or this small...
