Shirts worn on your torso to keep you from coldness and nudity. Repair is generally pretty straightforward with the help of a sewing machine.

Hole in shoulder of a cardigan

how do I repair a hole in the shoulder of a light weight wool cardigan? The hole is 1 inch by ½ inch. I will have to create a decorative patch but I need to stabilise the hole first.

skopjar, double stitch a glue/iron on arm patch over hole, that'll fix it. :-) . Link below to various patches. Good luck.

I hope this helped you out, if so let me know by pressing the helpful button.

I'd go for one on the inside and one on the outside. The outside one should make a statement like this, and no one will even notice that's it's a repair, just a statement: http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/16225957550...

This one is more reasonably priced: http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/27231849308...

@mayer , @lpfaff1 , @jayeff, @jimfixer, @benjamen50, @joshw, i'd go with something a bit more stylish like this unlessd of course we could convert thisto a shoulder patch

I dont know @mayer if you use those patches with the way things are down there right now you may be making a target for a new hole
