Boot loop and keeps turning on

Hello,

Yesterday I asked a question on ifixit, read that first.

Okay, so now, it won't turn off. Even when the battery died, it showed the plug in to charger screen over and over and over again until the battery really died. Now it is completely no power, but haven't tried charging it yet tho. Other than that it works. Haven't restored it yet, I get error 4013 on 2 different pcs. halp plz

Update: the phone works again. Showing the restore screen and is charging. Maybe a shorted cap between the power button line and ground?

This is why I run away from water damaged phones. The problem is that you fix one thing and then a new problem pops up. You can keep repeating the process over and over.

Its safe to assume the logic board has suffered severe damage. For sure on the charging system but it sounds like the touch system as well.

At some point you have to know when to stop. That's a decision that you make and only you. But your next step is going to involve replacing ICs if you do continue. And again...I promise that won't be the end of the repair.
