Device and repair information for the Behringer Eurolive B212D speaker system.

Power on and off

Behringer Eurolive B212D power on and off.

When I turn the switch on, it stays on for a couple of seconds, and then turns off by itself. I then have to turn it off, and turn it back on. It will stay on for a few seconds & then turn off again, on its own. What could be the cause? Thanks

marekman101 could be bad capacitors or MOSFET on the power board. You'll have to disassemble it and take a look at the board for obvious failed components like domed or leaking caps. Check these guides to help you. Post some images of what you find with your question so we can see what you see. Use this guide for that.

I have a Behringer 550 w ro live speaker that won't come on when you hit the on and off button. Sometimes I can do it 8 or 10 times and it might come on so I just duct tape the button to stay on and when I want to cut the speaker off I disconnect the power supply cord. Does anyone know if this is just a on and off switch problem?

@richardtstokes if this "I just duct tape the button to stay on" works all the time, then yes, the issue will be the power switch.
