Inexpensive 5 1/4" 4G LTE 2016 phone. Fixed battery, 2 SIMs, up to 64GB microSD.

Having frequent dropped calls

I've had my phone about one month. I keep having problems with the phone. Sometimes, I can hear the caller but they can't hear me, and then the call shuts off. Sometimes they hear a lot of sounds like buttons being pushed. Sometimes the call is put on hold and some of those times I am able to get it back off hold. Sometimes the call is just dropped altogether.

My location has nothing to do with it, and my battery is always well charged.

Hi,

I suggest that since the phone is only 1 month old, that you consult the warranty documentation that came with the phone as to what you have to do to make a claim for a warranty repair or replacement.

There is a 12 month manufacturer's warranty on the phone.

I really appreciate your quick and helpful reply. I read recently that the problem could be that the screen is not shutting down during calls so that I could be unknowingly pressing buttons with my face. It was suggested that I either press the power button before speaking to turn off the screen and/or hold the phone away from my face. I've been trying the latter with success so far. If I continue to have problems, I will definitely follow up on checking the warranty.
