There are two possible problems with your Keurig. The magnet in the water reservoir is out of place or the auto off timer has been is set. To check if the magnet in the water reservoir is out of place remove the water reservoir and lid, and then use your hand to realign the magnet. To check if the auto off timer is on, press the button below menu and scroll through the programming options. The auto off timer should be set to “off”

Why is there a magnet in the water reservoir?

crwdns2934271:0crwdnd2934271:0crwdne2934271:0

The magnet tells the unit when the water is low. The magnet is the small black disc that floats up and down right next to the main unit. When it floats low enough, the magnet completes a circuit of some sort and lets the unit know it's low on water.

I am unable to get into the menu. In fact, the Menu button is acting like a toggle to turn the machine on and off.

This is the problem I have, the switch on the back is supposed to only be a reset. That is it has a spring, and should only stay in one position. Yours is in the wrong position. I am still looking for a replacement switch, but you can rock it back and forth until the lcd looks right. Good luck.

Another possible issue: This is the problem I have, the switch on the back is supposed to only be a reset. That is it has a spring, and should only stay in one position. Yours may be in the wrong position. I am still looking for a replacement switch, but you can rock it back and forth until the lcd looks right.

If the menu does not work, or you can force a full cup by holding the start button, this might be your issue.

Good luck.

You have to make sure the kcup pierces through the needle at the bottom of the machine. Some cups i had to pre poke a hole then line up with needle when I placed the kcup in the machine.

Keurig keeps shutting off because the needle in the K-cup basket hasn't punctured the K-cup. Besides clogged exit needles, misaligned water reservoir magnets, dirty machines, and faulty outlets are some other causes.
