Pop up flash wont stay down

Ok, the pop up wont go down, almost hooks but doesnt, you push the flash button and you hear a faint click not the strong sound I believe it should have and the hook doesnt move. The flash when up doesnt flash either but that me be the hook inside, haven't opened it yet
